Your role at PFH:

As an the Worker's Compensation Specialist t you will be responsible for managing the worker's compensation program due to workplace injury or illness

You will:


  • Investigate and track workers' compensation incidents/injuries, prepare reports and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
  • Work with various PFH sites and managers to ensure a safe environment and practices within the workplace
  • Submit claims to the carrier and work with claim representatives to ensure all followup recommendations are followed through the finalization of the claim
  • Assist with investigations when needed
  • Prepare and distribute OSHA reports
  • Lead safety initiatives within the company through communication of safety topics and keeping safety awareness at the forefront.

We think you'd be great for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field; OR
  • Four years related experience is required
