Job Description

Position: Wholesale Mortgage Account Executive

Location: MUST BE NMLS LICENSED WITHIN TEXAS

Green Lending Wholesale (GLW) is in growth mode and seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated team player in the funding of mortgage loans for immediate hire. About the role

Experienced Wholesale Account Executive will work remotely to solicit conventional, FHA, VA, and non-QM mortgage loan submissions from mortgage brokers, provide training on company products and processes, and act as liaison between broker and GLW operations staff.

What the Role Entails:

  • Identify prospective clients, including mortgage brokers, banks, commercial brokers, and real estate investors
  • Introduce GLW loan programs and services to qualified financial institutions and banking partners
  • Evaluate whether clients qualify under the company's guidelines and assist them in becoming an approved GLW partner
  • Maintain and grow a loan pipeline by working collaboratively with operations and support personnel
  • Assist clients with loan scenarios, training, and progressing their submitted loans to fulfillment
  • Represent GLW in a professional manner at tradeshows, conferences, and other company-related events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills Needed for this Position:

  • Recent mortgage experience in wholesale or correspondent lending
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to develop with the company
  • Driven, self-motivated, organized, collaborative, and a "team player" type attitude
  • Understands supports and complies with local, state, and federal rules and regulations associated with mortgage lending compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, taking pride in client-centric service and communications
  • Ability to meet deadlines handle detailed assignments
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Min 3 years funding experience
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

  • Must hold NMLS # that is active in Texas
  • Must be in market with an active book of business
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as Wholesale Account Executive
  • Independent and self-motivated, with experience working with mortgage broker
  • Ability to work independently from home with a track record of success
  • High School diploma or equivalent
