Website Technician

This is a remote position.

Remote Website Technician position which can work from home anywhere, or out of our home office in Deerfield Beach, FL. Planned Growth is a full service Digital Marketing Company.

Primary responsibility will be to maintenance and execute client-requested and manager requested tasks on websites. The primary platform will be with WordPress websites, but will be required to occasionally manage non-Wordpress websites, such as Magento, Drupal, Zoho Sites, Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace, or other platforms.

Knowledge and experience with building or managing WordPress websites, and knowledge of WordPress plugins is required. Sample duties will include updating existing content or images, creating new pages or posts, adding functionality (such as event calendars, forms, popups, banners, sliders, etc), speed tests and speed optimizations, backups, troubleshooting, SEO, etc.

Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a must. Experience with FTP, Chrome Inspector Tools, Elementor and WP Bakery Page Builders is helpful.

This position will report to our Website Service Manager, and will execute tasks assigned in a timely manner, with a very strong attention to detail and quality, and will be able to check their own work before submitting it back to the Manager for approval in multiple browsers and mobile devices.
We are looking for someone who is very dependable.

This position will require you to be available to work on desktop or laptop during Eastern Time Zone business hours of 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate needs to be available to communicate, receive emails, and execute work assigned quickly during normal business hours the majority of the time.

We also are looking for this candidate to be a free-thinker, researcher, troubleshooter who is innovative and creative, that requires minimal supervision.
A candidate who also knows Adobe Creative Suite would be ideal.

The starting pay rate is $15/hour for a 90-day probationary period. Following the 90-day probationary period the increase in pay will be determined on quality, turnaround time, dependability and communication.


RequirementsWordPress experience.
Other CMS platform experience (such as Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace or others).
Fluent HTML5.
Fluent CSS3.
Great eye for quality & design.
Available for work 9-5 eastern time M-F
