Web UX Design, Analyst

Overview: Seeking a creative marketing UX/UI Designer who is looking for opportunities to constantly evolve with the growing global SolarWinds business. Much like our overall business decisions, our creative decisions are driven by data which gives our designers the chance to develop an understanding of how intelligent design can be used to drive opportunities and improve results.Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, adaptable, willing to learn new technologies, able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines and can work both independently and collaboratively with global team members. You know your way around the Adobe and Microsoft suites. In addition to an extensive design background, a basic overall understanding of content management systems, brand asset libraries, CRM’s, HTML and CSS is important, and Javascript is a definite plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate successfully with our design team, copywriters, web developers, product management and marketing programs teams to ensure that business objectives are met in a timely manner
• Able to translate creative briefs into strong UX/UI solutions for marketing and brand campaigns
• Develop and execute design plans and design specification documentation from concept to conception
• Deliver low to high fidelity wireframes, user flows, redlines, and prototypes for rapid iteration
• Utilizing existing components from our library when possible to streamline design and development efforts
• Work with our web team and developers to implement your designs and guide the efforts of our development team on complex website design initiatives based on understanding of UX and how design impacts web conversion
• Collaboration with QA team in design and implementation of test plans resolving any issues and ensuring web design quality
• Conduct design and documentation reviews

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in web design, graphic design, visual design or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience with a focus in UI/UX – interactivity – with a strong understanding of how to test web elements and layout to improve site conversion
• Proficiency in the current Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Sketch specifically) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Zeplin preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equivalent experience
• Effective communicator who can take high-level direction, articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback
• Strong project management skills, ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and properly estimate time for work
• Conversant in HTML and CSS
• Bootstrap theme experience
