Job Description

Energetic and growing marketing agency is looking for a Web & Design Implementation Specialist with a desire to create, learn and contribute to a great team. This position involves both design, marketing & quality control – the ideal candidate needs to be meticulous in addition to having an eye for design. This candidate will assist our web and marketing teams by executing tasks that support client marketing and web initiatives. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate.

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following job functions:

  • Executes tasks that support website projects and web support tickets

· Executes tasks that support clients’ marketing initiatives

  • Reviews websites for quality assurance
  • Trains clients on how to edit their websites
  • Sets up simple web pages and landing pages that don’t require a graphic designer
  • Simple web edits and blog loading
  • Creates website forms and connects to email marketing platforms & CRMs
  • Manages contacts and lists in email marketing platforms
  • Sets up flows/automations and forms in email marketing platforms
  • Optimizes blogs, pages, and images on websites
  • Sets up flows/automations and forms in email marketing platforms
  • Simple edits/designs for image files
  • Compress & optimize images for web
  • Set up eCommerce shops/import products
  • Sets up ads on social media platforms
  • Google My Business updates
  • Troubleshoots new technologies to discover how to accomplish requests from client, same applies to finding new features in existing technologies.

Job requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing or Communications or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, with some emphasis on web marketing and design.

· 2 years of demonstrated experience working with websites. Preference for WordPress and Shopify.

· Experience using HTML and CSS.

· Solid understanding of web best practices.

· Eye for design

· Understanding of SEO best practices preferred, but will train the right person.

· Experience with eCommerce basics preferred, but will train the right person.

· Experience with email marketing platforms, with preference for Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Emma.

· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

· Office Technology Tools: Office 365, Slack, and strong grasp on the digital world. Experience with Teamwork and Trello preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
