Job Description

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of vital internal and customer facing systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Collaborate with team members and the business to deliver a technical solution that meets the unique needs of the Company

  • Create quality deliverable to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences

  • Design, develop, unit test and deploy software features on Microsoft platforms

  • Provide detailed estimates for features built using Microsoft technologies

  • Internal programs and self-directed training to continually develop industry relevant knowledge and skills

  • Serve a team member or lead a project team

  • Monitors site traffic and works to meet user demands.

  • Improves company’s efficiency and designs look and feel of sites

  • Ability to present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to internal and external team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge

  • Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5-10 of web development experience. years of college coursework in Computer Science/Information Systems

  • Prior experience with the following:

    • Javascript
    • Knockout and/or Angular
    • .Net Framework
    • Web API Controller/ ASP.NET MVC Controller
    • Bootstrap 3 (LESS – a CSS compiler used by Bootstrap)
    • HTML5
    • Team Foundation Server (branching and release management)
    • C#
    • Ajax
    • Restful Web-services
    • SQL
    • Developing modules/ widgets in a content management system (like Dot Net Nuke)

MINIMUM SKILL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in standard web technologies

  • Basic understanding and experience in development with higher level languages

  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment

  • High technical aptitude- works well with developers, utilizes appropriate tools to ensure appropriate file compression,

  • Proven design/layout skills

  • High degree of organization

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High level of initiative and self-motivation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
