Job Description

SUMMARY:

Promote wealth management referrals across the bank footprint by expanding the education of bank associates and working individually with branch staff to identify qualified referrals.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

75% Promote and develop new business activities for the acquisition of new Wealth/Trust clients. New business development activities should include but not be limited to networking within the Bank with bank associates to educate them on the services offered within wealth management. This should be accomplished by conducting training sessions, attending branch meetings and working directly with individual bank staff to identify potential wealth clients within the bankers existing book of business. Development officer will handle initial calls and meetings with potential wealth management clients. Development officer will coordinate with appropriate wealth staff depending on the needs of the client. In addition, the Development Officer will coordinate with the Bank's Product and Development team to conduct formalized training sessions and coordinate with Marketing to promote wealth management.

25% Assist with the relationship management for all new wealth/trust clients onboarded. Development officer will work with account administrator and portfolio manager to serve the ongoing needs of the client.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 8 years financial services experienced with investment management/brokerage/trust related experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to relate to a diverse audience.
