We are a custom seafood processor and our customers require good manufacturing and sanitation practices along with great attention to detail.

What Will Be Expected

This is a fast-paced job that requires you to stand and work in a cold and wet environment. The temperature inside of the processing area may vary in range and can be as low as 40 degrees.

Warehouse Driver Duties:

  • Coordinate truck deliveries for materials to dry warehouse.
  • Verify material and quantities needed to be delivered for daily production.
  • Ensure all production material is available and delivered prior to start of production.
  • Receive, unpack, check, and store product and materials in by use of forklift or pallet jack at dry warehouse and plant.
  • Check receiving paperwork to ensure quantities and description match what is being received.
  • Communicate when inventory of items are in or out of stock.
  • Assist with organizing materials at warehouse.
  • Inspect materials for damage or foreign items.
  • Operate truck that transports product and material to and from dry warehouse and return all RTS boards.
  • Load, secure, and unload product and material from truck.
  • Maintain radio or phone contact with dispatcher to receive deliveries, instructions, and changes to schedule.
  • Pick up and deliver small local loads upon warehouse Manager request.
  • Read work orders to determine items needed for daily production. Keep accurate and efficient records of logs and all other paperwork required.
  • Turn in receiving paperwork daily (bill of lading, manifest, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate accounting of inventory and assist in monthly physical inventory counts.
  • Keep warehouse organized and clean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule and Expectations

We need people who can meet the attendance requirements which may include weekend work and overtime. You must be willing and able to work extended hours and weekends, which may include both Saturday and Sunday, in peak periods.

Candidates must be able to work between the below hours.

Available Shifts:
Shift 1: 4:00 am - 4:00 pm
Shift 2: 3:00 pm - 3:00 am

Hours can extend past these times and workers are expected to work until the job is finished.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand constantly; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb stairs. The employee must regularly lift and or move between 25-50 lbs. and occasionally lift between 50-75 lbs. Some positions may require heavier lifting.

Work Environment The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.


Required Experience:

  • Must have valid Driver's License
  • Must have prior forklift experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and on a team
  • Able to follow written and verbal instruction
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be dependable and quick learner
