This is a full-time, non-exempt level position, reporting to the General Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Computer skills to complete proper paperwork
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Drive a van and delivery truck
  • Familiar with the area for routing/navigating
  • Ability to navigate through traffic, main road, freeways, back roads, construction zones and other obstacles in a timely manner & obey all local traffic laws
  • Able to invest time in company paid service training, seminars and classes
  • Load and unload trucks, inspect products for defects and damages
  • Deliver parts and equipment to jobsites
  • Responsible for quality control
  • Able to work with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
  • Maintain safe vehicles by conducting pre-trip inspections on vehicles
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
  • Must have good reading and communication skills
  • Must possess a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Ability to work with power tools, on ladders, in attics, and on roofs

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License & insurable driving record
  • Customer service experience
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Arrive and be ready to start work on time each day
  • Ability to move / lift up-to 50 pounds
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to work professionally with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Ability to drive several types of company vehicles and satisfy the requirements of our insurance carrier
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check
  • Available to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Positive and energetic attitude


GROOMING:

Once hired, all employees must maintain a well-groomed appearance (i.e. a business-like haircut, clean shaven (no facial hair), and no visible tattoos.)

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Some work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
  • Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
  • Moderate exposure to physical risk
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
