Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Job Purpose

Warehouse Associates work with the Warehouse Team and Distribution Center Manager to maximize shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution center performance through solid day to day operations and ensuring a positive delivery experience for the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse associates are expected to efficiently support operations through the following duties and responsibilities:

• Effectively and efficiently inspect the quality and condition of materials to ensure company standards are upheld
• Pulls and picks orders to fill customer needs
• Packs, tags, and sorts material in order to ensure organization
• Performs cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory data
• Contributes to the team environment
• Ships and receives materials
• Loads and unloads transfer trucks and containers
• Operates forklift following safety policies and procedures
• Processes returns and associate paper work
• Adhere to and uphold company rules and policies including safety regulations
• Communicate with team and management of any lean initiatives, waste identification, and process improvements

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of warehouse experience

• 1+ years of forklift experience

• 1+ years of commercial driving experience
• Ability to multi task and prioritize
• Strong written and oral communication required
• Attention to detail
• Commitment to company values and ethics
• Possess Standard Class C Driver's License

Working Conditions

The position of Warehouse Associate is based in Conyers, GA in a standard warehouse setting. This is an at-will hourly non-exempt position.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position are considered “heavy” meaning the employee must be able to lift 40-50 pounds occasionally as handling material may be required at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
