Shift 5 - Weekend | 12 Hour Shift (part time employment status)

Saturday 11:00am – 11:00pm

Sunday 11:00am – 11:00pm

The Warehouse Associate (Material Handler) will be responsible for the receiving, transactions, and distribution of all materials and supplies from external suppliers, for a high volume N95 mask factory. Responsible for various outbound shipping activities for finished goods. Manages storage and pallet racking locations. Delivers raw material and packaging material to the appropriate work cells. Maintains all necessary documentation and records for delivered materials and for outbound shipments.

  • Unloads material from incoming trucks as needed. Responsible for receiving in the raw material and packaging materials. Maintains all applicable records and documentation.
  • Verifies quantities of incoming goods against the bill of lading, etc.
  • Manages the stocking and coordination of raw materials to the warehouse pallet racking, using either dedicated locations or warehouse management systems.
  • Delivers raw material and packaging material to the appropriate work cells, using forklifts, pickers, and pallet jack trucks.
  • Moves pallets of finished goods to pallet locations or into trailers. Completes the necessary shipping paperwork.
  • Maintains assigned areas in a clean and organized manner to ensure that materials or inventory can be located quickly and accurately, and the area is maintained as a safe working environment.
  • Safely and efficiently drives or uses material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pickers and pallet jack trucks) for the purpose of transporting materials and orders.
  • Maintains material handling equipment (e.g.; charging batteries, safety features, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring continuous and safe operations of the equipment.
  • Responsible of the transfer of manufacturing waste to the appropriate recycle bins or dumpsters.
  • Assists with cycle counting and inventory control.
  • Performs other work related duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Related Experience: Minimum of five years of receiving/shipping/warehouse experience

Work Environment / Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds


Special Competencies or Certifications:

  • Must be able to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with a warehouse management system is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Provide highest level of customer service through positive and courteous interactions with internal and external personnel and distribution employees.
