Role

As a member of the Security Research team you will imagine weaknesses in multiple types of systems and then find, demonstrate/document, and exploit those weaknesses. You will be joining a team of mature and extremely competent Security Researchers to breakdown and fully understand how a host of different systems function. You will need to leverage extensive experience performing static and dynamic analysis and must be familiar with multiple classes of vulnerabilities. Additionally, you must be extremely comfortable communicating with team members, technical partners, and non-technical partners alike.

Responsibilities

  • Perform security research, vulnerability research and reverse engineering for customer tasks
  • With minimal supervision performs static and dynamic analysis applying research tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers
  • Build re-usable tools and frameworks to support and complete project activities
  • Design software using appropriate design patterns for problems at hand
  • Document and publish security research findings internally and, when and where it is appropriate, externally
  • Developed specialized knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
  • Demonstrate a passion for difficult problems, solve difficult problems and exhibit a desire to learn
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude, complemented by a sense of urgency when needed
  • When needed assist in writing white papers
  • Mentor your fellow engineers

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with C and/or Assembly Language
  • Extensive demonstrated experience developing exploits or agents
  • Strong programming fundamentals; particularly with networking, data structures, and data models

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursue team success before self
  • A drive for excellence and quality
  • Cyber tradecraft and the ability to apply it to tools and platform development
  • Experience with hackathons or Capture the Flag (CTF) events
  • Currently possess a Top Secret security clearance
