We are seeking a senior cybersecurity executive with deep experience in Anomaly Detection, Forensics, Incident Response, and proven experience leading globally distributed teams. In this role, you will own the vision, set the direction, and drive the execution of the Detection and Response function for the company.

The Detection and Response function is a critical part of the security program supporting the scale and reliability needed for the continued growth of our customer base while keeping pace with evolving security and adversarial landscape.

Responsibilities:

Partner with executives across the company to deliver shared outcomes that measurably improve our efficacy and efficiency to detect, contain, and respond to security incidents.

Partner with industry-leading experts to bring in innovative solutions as well as contribute to the security community.

Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to stakeholders including customers, executives, peers, and employees.

Maintain strong knowledge of ongoing security threats, remediations, and operational best practices.

Influence the roadmap for the preventative security controls based on the insights from security incidents and the intelligence gathered from the larger security community.

Foster and facilitate the professional growth and development of our staff as well as lead effective cross-functional collaboration across groups within the organization.

Build organizational capability within these teams by recruiting and retaining outstanding talent and providing mentoring, training (internal and external), and other opportunities for professional growth and development.

Lead through organizational scale and priority changes.

Build a world-class product management team.

Requirements:

The ability to build, lead a high performing global team of security experts in detection platforms, threat detection\intelligence, and automated response capabilities at scale.

Demonstrated experience creating effective security strategies that balance prevention and detection.

10+ years experience in the Information Security field, including building large scale distributed systems and deep operational security monitoring experience.

7+ years in cross-functional management roles. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills of teams across multiple geo-locations.

The ability to build strong relationships with peers, executives both internal and external and with peers/professional organizations outside the company.

Driving innovative ways to detect vulnerabilities, exploit activity, and neutralize them through advanced technological countermeasures.

Proven experience in the successful delivery of large, complex, high volume logging pipelines and data platforms for analytics.

Extensive experience with managing threats associated with multiple cloud platforms\substrates

Deep understanding of networking, Web-Application Architecture, and security Fundamentals (IAM, Data Protection, PKI, Network Security, etc.)

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix - system-level security controls.

Relevant information security certifications, such as CISSP, Offensive Security OSCP
