Job Description

W ork Schedule : 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Occasional evening or weekend hours during the year may be needed for job responsibilities i.e. training, programming, or events. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department

We are seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator to:

  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with hospital and clinic staff and the community to maximize utilization of volunteers and promote volunteer programs.
  • Participate in the interview, selection, and orientation process for volunteers.
  • Ensure volunteers meet annual requirements such as health screenings and required training.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross-functional performance improvement teams. Provide support for strategic and operational projects.

Education :

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Health Care, Education, or related field.

Work Experience :

Minimum - One year of customer service or administrative coordination experience.

Preferred - Two years of experience coordinating activities or events. Experience working in a healthcare setting.
