Visual Designer/Graphic Designer

Life-Assist is looking for a Visual Designer/Graphic Designer who is a creative, highly motivated individual who can generate and express creative concepts from inception all the way through launch.

If you are detail-oriented, an innovative thinker, a level-headed problem solver, and someone who loves seeing a project through to completion, this could be the role for you. This is an on-site position in Rancho Cordova, CA.

As the Visual Designer/Graphic Designer, you will:

• Work with the IT, sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints.
• Manage designs from concept through production.
• Have basic coding knowledge so they can work together with coders.
• Concepting, layout, and design of print pieces.
• Concepting, layout, and design of websites / email blasts / landing pages / video assets.
• Work on email marketing items, presentation materials and interactive event materials.
• Submit visual design concepts for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner.
• Keep track of advancements in visual design technologies and applications, as well as industry trends.

Key to this role is an understanding of how content and design work together to create meaningful and supportive materials for the audience and the ability to effectively share ideas from concept to delivery.

Who Are You?

• B.A. in Graphic Design, Web Design/Development, Media Design, Digital Art, Marketing or similar or equivalent combination of education and related experience of 5+ years
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premiere
• Experience in UX/UI design
• Video production and editing skills are a plus
• Experience in web design, layout, typography
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS (experience in responsive web design is a plus)
• Ability to multi-task and handle many projects at once
• Excellent organizational skills and sense of urgency
