Responsibilities

The Virtual Clinical Diabetes Educator will play a key role in the education of patients by providing telephonic support and assist in coordination of available resources to patients. The Virtual Clinical Nurse Educator will utilize their professional expertise, relationships and clinical training in the implementation of an education plan.

Key Job Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Provide targets and clinical office staff with clinical education and patient support
  • Deliver product information and training
  • Maintain relationships with staff through quarterly touchpoints, and in coordination with other business units
  • Educate clinical office staff on in-office patient education needs, including treatment process and expectations, compliance education and availability of patient services

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) active license required
  • 3+ years clinical experience is required
  • Experienced training and presentation skills
  • Some travel may be required dependent on business needs
