The Visual Design Training Specialist is responsible for designing and creating engaging videos and graphics used in instructor led or eLearning training content. The Global Technical Training team is responsible for empowering associates and external customers globally with the skills they need to implement and support our products within their environment.
This position is part of the The Global Technical Training and will be located in Sunnyvale, California with a Hybrid remote in office schedule. At Cepeid we put patients first making it easier and faster to access the test results you need when you need them. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate, consult, and recommend in partnership with instructional designers and Subject Matter Experts on video and graphics required for product trainings for internal and external customers.
Stage, shoot and edit video content leveraging industry standard equipment and video editing software such as Adobe Premier or Camtasia following Cepheid guidelines on branding for consistency.
Ideate, propose, create and refine graphics that enhance concepts used in Technical Training materials.
Strategize and recommend solutions in the leveraging of video and graphics for localized content. This may require implementation of closed captioning or localized graphics content. Partner with an outside vendor for multi-language translations and manages deadlines according to project timelines.
Incorporate and\or review Instructor Led and eLearning content for video and graphics quality and consistency prior to production release. This would require experience in MS PowerPoint and eLearning tools such as Articulate 360. The essential requirements of the job include:
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Preference given to candidates with medical device equipment video or graphics experience, complex hardware operation and experience describing service procedure.
Content creator experience following GMP practices with Document Control Systems such as Agile.
Experience with training content tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Final Cut, or TechSmith Camtasia. Other:
