Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Our client serves the world’s best hotel operators (Hersha, Real Hospitality, Crescent, M&R) to increase the efficiency of their food and beverage operations. They take over restaurant hubs inside of full-service hotels and uses their kitchens to provide virtual room service and catering to nearby limited- and select-service hotels. Currently serving more than 25,000 keys in NYC, they are poised to expand to Miami, Chicago, and Washington DC in 2021.
About the Role
The VP of Sales will leverage their existing network of hospitality executives and brand partners to sell our client’s services into new hotels, increase business inside existing hotels, and enhance offerings with partnerships with exceptional brands. The VP of Sales will take over day-to-day management of the existing Account Management Team and scale that team to cover new opportunities in NYC and new markets.
The VP of Sales is based in NYC and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

By developing and executing deal strategies, leading and mentoring a team, and collaborating cross functionally with every area of the company, the VP of Sales will be integral to the successful execution of our client’s growth strategy.
Qualifications
  • More than ten years of experience in hospitality and/or technology sales, with at least three years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in scaling a sales team, particularly into new geographies
  • Ability to define, institute, and execute a complex sales process
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated command of metrics-driven sales models
  • A tech-savvy and efficient communicator with experience with the latest communications and sales tracking tools, including Slack, Superhuman, Asana, and Pipedrive
  • A passion for travel with status with multiple traveler loyalty programs
