Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION – Technician - Unified communications

Shall be full-time employee and be familiar with the installation, repair and maintenance of various types of telephone systems, PBX, VoIP and Wireless network. Technician shall have expertise in the installation of intercoms, paging systems, voice response units and all types of voice and data cabling and telephone instruments .

Expectations:

  • The Unified Communications Technician is expected to perform day-to-day installation, service, programming, testing and troubleshooting of UC systems
  • Provide Excellent communications skills when interacting with the customer and team members alike
  • Provide support to Snr Engineer, System Programmer and other Team members
  • Attention to detail
  • Offer suggestions for performance improvement.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor when interacting with others

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the operation and maintenance of telephone systems, PBX, VoIP and Wireless network.
  • Manage configuration changes, voicemail, phone configurations and software upgrades.
  • Assist in development and design of the Voice Network
  • Engage in regular communications troubleshooting and maintenance activities and resolve issues.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of Voice Telecommunication projects and services.
