Poinciana Medical Center is now HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital. Since 2013, our hospital has served the healthcare needs of southwest Kissimmee, Osceola and Polk counties. As an accredited 177,000 square foot hospital with 70 private beds and a six-private bed intensive care unit, we provide a full range of acute care services, including emergency services, diagnostic imaging and inpatient and outpatient surgery.

POSITION SUMMARY: Has appropriate education, credentials, and competencies to function as a Sonographer in one of the above specialties. Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to diverse patient populations. Responsible for meeting the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment, and coordinating work with all members of the health care team.

Qualifications



Education:
Completion of a Sonography Program or a Radiology Technologist Program
Licensure:
ARDMS (AB) or (DB) or (BR)
BLS
