This Growth Engineering owns the New Relic admin experience as well as several UIs within the Growth Engineering Space. The team has a strong mentality towards building sophisticated projects in a highly paced environment. We are looking for a UI Software Engineer who will contribute to crafting, scaling and extending our platform.

We are seeking a UI Software Engineer to join us as we build outstanding Admin Management experiences for our customers! Our roadmap includes greenfield features and scaling the platform which provide tons of opportunities to explore and design for hard engineering problems.

What You’ll Do
  • Actively drive continuous engineering excellence within your team.
  • Engage with the team members and architects to discuss and implement service improvements and new development.
  • Partner with Product Management and UX/Design to solve exciting customer problems.
  • Ship incrementally and often, helping the team to maintain a constant flow of feedback on its work.
  • Feel passionate about improving software by constant iteration with your team.
Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 2+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Strong React fundamentals with proven experience writing performant and reusable components
  • Deep familiarity with modern Javascript (ES6+),TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS
  • Experience working within the constraints of a design framework
  • Experience querying data from various sources such as GraphQL, REST APIs, and key/value datastores
  • Experience reviewing PRs and applying best methodologies to reviews
  • Collaborative working style and excellent communication skills
Nice-to-have:
  • Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and monitoring technologies
  • A passion for code quality and optimal performance.
  • A deep understanding/awareness of algorithms complexity and how they impact our user experiences.
  • A desire to innovate whenever possible and experiment with solutions.
  • Experience with Apollo Client
