Job Description

Summary: The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for auditing and tracking direct mail-in repair transactions to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. The Inventory Control Lead works closely with the Operations Supervisor to report on deficiencies and source solutions.

Primary Responsibilities could include the following:

  • Research all inventory discrepancies detected by area personnel and action accordingly.

  • Communicate errors appropriately to area leadership

  • Conduct, as necessary, any search to locate products lost within the system or locations.

  • Propose and perform (with approval) transactions (adjustments) per procedures.

  • Make inventory adjustments under the approval of Area Leadership.

  • Act as primary liaison with Inventory Integrity Team.

  • Process Accessories and Client product according to standard process

  • Run transaction and location reports.

  • Perform daily cycle counts of scheduled product

  • Perform root cause analysis for discrepancies and propose process improvements.

  • Participate in all special inventories as required.

  • Have a full understanding of Inventory transactions.

  • Act as a team lead for Inventory Control Associates and ensure policies and procedures are followed while upholding ubreakifx standards.

  • Assist in cross-training employees with existing and new procedures as they are implemented.

  • Promote the company's Core Values and adherence to those values.

  • Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.

  • Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Based on business needs to be able to stand or sit

  • Any other duties assigned by Leadership based on business needs/customer risk

  • Verify the accuracy of and timely transfer inventory parts into and out of Receiving Inspection locations

  • Using various tools to create inspection orders as needed to fulfill daily shipment needs

  • Monitor inventory levels and work with management to ensure a continuous flow of work to the floor

  • Any other duties assigned by Leadership based on business needs/customer risk

  • 1 year of inventory management experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply problem solving techniques in day to day activities

  • High energy level, detail oriented, exhibit a sense of urgency and initiative to perform in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Must be able to work with a well diverse teams

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to multi-task within a fast paced environment

Work Environment and Abilities:


The DMIR Associate works in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. The DMIR Associate must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a repetitive motion. This person must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.


Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work:


This position is a full-time, hourly role. Work days and hours may vary.
