A role to be proud of

The Treasury Middle Office Analyst is responsible for producing weekly and monthly reports for internal distribution. They will interact with various banking partners to ensure accounts are set up properly, assist with bank documentation, and monitor banking transactions to ensure they are completed successfully. The Analyst will also perform research and interact with internal Business units and banks to assist with questions and issue resolution.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete new bank set ups including documentation, KYC, and connectivity
  • Assist in the preparation of bank documentation for opening and closing bank accounts
  • Validate cash investment as directed by Front Office. Ensure in line with policy and exposure limit
  • Perform reporting – giveback calculation, bank expenses, fee reporting
  • Assist in perform security administrative functions on Treasury Management System and banking platforms
  • Work on Audit and Regulatory requests
  • Work with multiple mainframe systems, company applications, bank applications, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent Excel skills are needed for very large and complex spreadsheets
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management

Other key skills required for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years stock transfer/financial services experience or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • The Treasury Middle Office Analyst should have at least 3 years of general office experience. Treasury experience is preferred
  • Technical skills desirable for this role include Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Database software knowledge is recommended. Treasury Management System experience is preferred
  • The Treasury Middle Office Analyst should be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. In addition to handling common inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community, they may require tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging clients, complaints, or sensitive issues
