Traffic Control Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to direct employees in field operations on roadside projects.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• A Division Supervisor will have the responsibility of between 2 to 6 crews.
• Will be responsible to properly setup and maintain proper work zone traffic control on highways and bridges.
• Recommends disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
• Follow-up on job quality and crew productivity.
• Assure foreman have necessary equipment and materials according to contract specifications.
• Follow-up on operation to assure crews are performing up to company standards, and contract specifications.

• Make contact with customers as quality assurance follow-up.
• Documentation of customer contacts.
• Provide follow-up training with employees in the field.
• Assist in sales efforts by attending pre- & post-bid meetings, estimating, performing measurements, collecting data and developing positive relationships with existing customers.
• Assure employees are complying with all Regulatory and Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of traffic control experience are required.
• Traffic control supervisor or technician certificate preferred, but not required. We will train and get certified proper applicants.
• Previous supervisory, budgeting, estimating and operational, facility and subordinate development experience preferred.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player and have good communication skills.
• Must be available for travel.
