Job Description

Middle Tennessee Title is looking for an experienced title processor and/or closer to join our company. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a title company.

We are an active and established title company. We need someone who can effectively dive in immediately to assist our title company in handling an increase in volume of clientele to our business. This position will need to work independently with minimal oversight to handle all responsibilities as referenced below. This position will also work with supervising attorney(s) and/or our current Title Processor/Closer to facilitate all aspects of processing and closing real estate transactions efficiently and professionally with a focus on quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct closing procedures related to real estate transactions
  • Draft and review settlement documents for purchase and refinancing transactions
  • Assist with clearance, underwriting questions and guidelines
  • Resolve and assist with title curative issues
  • Timely and professionally communicate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers
  • Establish new accounts/clientele for Middle Tennessee Title, Inc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years experience
  • Knowledge of closing documents and procedures**
  • Experience with title search/exam
  • Organized with the ability to handle a high volume of files at once
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize, follow up, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with real estate closing and title insurance software such as SoftPro, Qualia, Rynoh, etc. - most preferably Softpro
