Job Summary

Position is responsible for providing strategic and tactical human resources support in a consultative capacity to employees and all levels of management. Working with assigned business groups this position will partner directly with management to provide advice and counsel on HR programs, practices and strategies in support of the objectives and operations of the business. Consults and provides content in areas such as employee relations, organizational change, performance management, employee and management development, organizational design and development, succession planning, recruitment and retention strategies, compensation management, and training. Responsible for implementation, measurement and review of key HR processes and ensuring that these processes are administered consistently throughout the assigned business groups. Responsible for identifying and communicating best practices and assisting with the strategic and business planning process as it relates to human resource issues. Responsibility

  • Directly supports a subset of the Operations Groups as an HRBP

  • Ensure that HR processes and procedures are consistently communicated and administered throughout all business situations.

  • Acts as an advisor on Human Resources issues to managers, supervisors and employees throughout area of influence and in coverage areas as required.

  • Recommends appropriate employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer/employee relationship while promoting a high level of employee morale.

  • Ensures compliance to legal requirements and government regulations affecting the Human Resources function and provide appropriate information required for compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of international human resource policies, programs, laws and issues and coordinates the integration of all such programs.

  • Regularly partners with global stakeholders and HR Management Team to define and execute talent management, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, HRIS and leadership development strategy.

  • Works with HR Team to implement effective performance management plans and advise business leaders on how to use appraisals process to contribute to the growth and development of individual employees.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 2-5 years professional HR experience

  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment law required

  • Strong understanding of HR best-practices and human development theory/ organizational development/ adult development theory

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment desirable
