Position Summary:

We are looking for a licensed physician who is ready for a new adventure. Due to continued growth, Milan is building a team of Medical Directors located in Georgia. Aesthetics experience is not necessary, but the ideal candidate is able to work independently, is team-oriented, and has exceptional clinical, patient care, and customer services skills.

As a Medical Director at Milan, you will oversee procedures at all clinics within your assigned geographical region.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assess treatment response and determine the next steps for follow-up clinic treatments
  • Provide patient care via phone or other electronic means following laser hair removal
  • Educate patients on the laser hair removal process and pre/post treatment care recommendations
  • Serve as a resource for clinic providers regarding clinical questions
  • Ensure that all providers within the region have received adequate and appropriate training in order to perform treatments independently with the highest level of competency.
  • Monitor and analyze treatment data metrics
  • Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class customer service
  • Record clear and accurate medical documentation in the patient’s medical record
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Attend various recurring meetings.

This role may require the physician to obtain and maintain multiple state licenses. The regional coverage and assigned duties of the physician are subject to change in congruence with company needs as they expand.

The hours for this role can vary and are somewhat flexible but will require the physician to be readily accessible by phone, especially during clinic business hours. The ideal candidate for this role is a physician who is consistently dependable, has exceptional communication skills and possesses excellent customer service skills.

Location: Can be located anywhere in the state of Georgia, Remote

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO medical school in the United States or ECFMG certified
  • Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or internal medicine
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Georgia. This license will be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unencumbered (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction).
  • Reside in Georgia or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory
  • Possess phenomenal customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent patient care
  • Strong teamwork mentality
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
  • EMR experience (preferred)
  • Able to be available during Milan clinic hours
