Job Description
Infosys Limited, Technology Architect(s) (Business Intelligence) - US (full time; multiple positions available)
Technology Architect(s) (Business Intelligence) - US needed in Richardson, Texas, and various and unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., to provide inputs on IT solution architecture based on evaluation/understanding of solution alternatives, frameworks or products. Will interact with clients to elicit architectural and non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and maintainability. Anchor proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk. Design applications based on identified architecture and support implementation of design by resolving complex technical issues faced by the IT project team during development, deployment and support. Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), Mathematics or related field, plus one (1) year of IT experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Technology Lead or related position. The one (1) year of IT experience must include experience in application architecture, one or more application servers, application & RDBMS design principles, and performance optimization utilizing any one of the following: AB Initio, Informatica, Oracle BI, MS OLAP, OLAP programming, or reporting languages and tools. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), Mathematics or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the IT field. One (1) year of the five (5) years of progressive experience in the IT field must include experience in application architecture, one or more application servers, application & RDBMS design principles, and performance optimization utilizing any one of the following: Ab Initio, Informatica, Oracle BI, MS OLAP, OLAP programming, or reporting languages and tools. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. as the position may involve relocation to various and unanticipated client site location. Any relocation to be paid by employer pursuant to internal policy. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
