Job Description

YK Communications (YKC) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Technical Sales Representative. YKC, headquartered in Ganado, Texas, is a dynamic and growing independently owned company that offers broadband internet, voice, video, and security services to both residential and business customers.

The ideal candidate must be technically minded and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position General Summary: Assesses customer network, telephone, security, Internet and various other system needs and designs systems to meet customer needs. Research products, services, and pricing and works directly with customers. Serves as a technical resource to sales and customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

· Assesses customer network, telephone, security, Internet and various other system needs. Designs system solutions that meet customer needs utilizing company products and services.

· Researches products, services, and pricing to provide information for both sales presentations to clients and for recommendations to management for future offerings and revenue streams.

· Orders and receives equipment from various vendors to maintains proper inventory levels for sales and repairs.

· Serves as a technical resource to sales and customer service. Provides technical training to clients upon implementation of new systems. May provide ongoing technical assistance to customers.

· Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Knowledge of internet technologies.

· Knowledge of sales strategies.

· Knowledge of company products and services.

· Skill in operating various systems and software programs

· Skill in presenting technical concepts to clients and potential clients.

· Skill in training customers.

· Skill in problem solving and providing customer service.

· Ability to determine customer requirements and design networking solutions to meet customer needs.

· Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.

· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.

· Ability to pay close attention to detail.

· Ability to obtain and maintain relevant certifications through training and continuing education.

· Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and work ethic

· Highly organized, analytical, and able to work with minimal supervision

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, responsibilities, and meet deadlines

· Proficient in MS Office software

· Valid state drivers license and non-negligent driving record

· Meet 275lbs weight limit due to safety restrictions

· Ability to lift and move up to 80lbs

· Qualification on pre-employment screening

· Bi-lingual is highly desirable

Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, vocational certification or related field experience plus three to five years of sales experience.
