What you’ll achieve
As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will design compelling solutions to real world technical challenges using Dell EMC Infrastructure. You will work with engineering, product management and marketing to publish and highlight solutions through white papers, design guides and implementation guides.

This Technical Marketing role will be responsible for the thought leadership, marketing collateral and joint technical validation of our integrated solutions across the Dell Infrastructure Solutions products. This position technical marketing/technical writing experience and a solid understanding of solutions ecosystems (ISVs, SIs, etc.) and infrastructure systems such as servers, storage and networking. It is highly desirable that you have technical experience in database applications, workloads and solutions.

He / She will also be responsible for hands on technical solutions validation and delivering customer and sales facing collateral such as white papers, design guides, reference architectures and implementation guides.

• Create technical solution documentation for AI/ML, Data Analytics and Management, VDI, databases and High Performance Compute solutions

• Work closely with engineering, product management, product marketing, and support teams to accelerate the momentum of integrated solutions offerings
• Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Senior Engineers on design/creation/positioning for highly available and scalable products

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in technical writing/technical marketing
• Excellent communication skills, business acumen and judgement

• Strong technical acumen with a history of building/delivering enterprise products
• Proven ability to generate technical test plans, write technical documentation, describe workflows, and create precise technical illustrations.
• Experience in interacting with customers in the IT industry.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; tight deadlines and operating in a very fast paced environment
• Strong technical skills in IT, datacenter, databases (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) VMware, Cloudera, etc. as well as compute, storage, networking and security
• Experience and background in bringing as-a-service offerings to market
