Position Summary
In this role, you will operate and maintain network infrastructures (LAN/WAN) systems for government entity and private companies. You will implement and integrate network systems such as switches, routers, data center infrastructure, and security control devices. Dealing with Windows Domain, SQL, and Networking. Working on PKI for a government entity.

  • Researching new technologies to fully understand implementation requirements and implications for integration with other systems.
  • Creating and supporting disaster recovery procedures and continuity of operations plans.
  • Troubleshoot and debugging complex network problems and recommending operational efficiency improvements.
  • Mentoring junior Engineering staff.

Position / Candidate Requirements

  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status and eligible for clearance.
  • Education: Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a Related Engineering Discipline
    • 0-2 Years of Experience with a Master's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity
    • 2-4 Years of Experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity
    • 6-8 Years of Experience with an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity
    • 8-10 Years with a High School Diploma
  • Required Progressive Experience:
    • Operating and maintaining network technologies and providing end-user support for on premise deployments.
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCNA
  • VCP – VMware Certified Professional or VCA – VMware Certified Associate
  • MCSA or MCSE – Microsoft cert
  • Strong with SQL and Windows Domain
  • Experience with Physical Security Systems – Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV
  • Certifications in CCURE, Milestone, Lenel, Hirsch, etc
