Tax Accountant

Fone and Associates is a professional team of Certified Public Accountants, consultants, and advisors dedicated to providing high quality accounting services with leading world class customer service.

Fone and Associates is looking for a full-time Tax Accountant who will work closely and report to the managing Certified Public Accountant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with preparation of individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns
- Assist with income tax projections and estimated tax payment vouchers
- Assist with audits
- Assist with correspondences with taxing authorities
- Assist with research tax related issues

Qualifications

- Accounting degree or working towards degree
- CPA candidate a plus
- Experience working in a CPA firm a plus
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office a plus
- ProSeries tax software knowledge a plus
- Demonstrates skills necessary to ensure high quality client services
- Multi-tasking skills

Compensation is determined on experience and skill set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
