Tasting Room Associate

Job Description ______________________________________________________________

We are looking to expand our team of energetic professionals with a solid work ethic and a strong commitment to hospitality. We are hiring part-time and full-time in the Tasting Room.

Qualifications ________________________________________________________________

  • Ability to create a superb guest experience
  • Assisting guests with wine tasting, education and purchases
  • Promoting our wine club
  • Operate cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Operate POS system for guest purchases
  • Maintain an organized and neat work environment
  • Professional appearance and gracious demeanor
  • Learn and communicate the key points of Stone’s Throw Winery wines
  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine and courteous smile
  • Responsible for daily set-up
  • Restock wine, water, and glassware
  • Wash and clean wine glasses
  • Properly sanitize guests’ areas
  • Must be a team player and able to collaborate with others
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirments__________________________________________________________________

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift/move/carry 50 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch or climb
