Tanning Salon Consultant / Sales Associate

• Able to work part time, long term, both _ weekdays_ and weekends, mostly afternoon shift
• Half day and some full day shifts
• Some on call or shift change (if an emergency occurs)
• Salon is currently open from 10am - 9pm Mon-Sat, 11am - 5pm Sunday *Hours change seasonally (Fall/Winter 11am-8pm Mon-Sat,11am-5pm Sun)

Requirements:

18+ Age Required

Past experience working at a tanning salon preferred

Some knowledge of tanning related topics

Pass all training assessments

High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning/ Sanitizing thoroughly/ Laundry
• Helping customers / customer relations
• Working with cash register, credit card reader, and sales systems
• Operating tanning beds and tanning application system (training provided)
• Selling products and tanning packages
• Learning / memorizing / relaying products, packages, and operations
• Answering phone calls and working with the computer system
• Communicating with other employees, management, and owner regularly
• Having your own transportation to and from work
• Maintaining a positive, friendly and welcoming attitude
• Ability to multitask during busy times
• Ability to self-manage and work independently
