Job Description
General Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Partner is the primary source of talent acquisition strategy and advice and is accountable for driving all aspects of full lifecycle recruiting processes including planning, sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring exempt and non-exempt talent across multiple locations. This individual will collaborate with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and Operations Leadership in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical TA plans to hire the right talent at the right time. The individual in this role will build relationships with internal partners and external organizations to attract talent and stay up to date on current trends in talent acquisition.
The TA Partner will help develop solutions for moderately complex problems occurring within assigned locations and may assist with training and mentoring less experienced TA Partners on matters related to best practices, processes, tools and technologies.


SOURCING & RECRUITING TALENT

  • Utilizes creative thinking skills to develop and implement effective TA sourcing and recruiting plans to hire the right talent at the right time.
  • Effectively manages the full recruiting lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Actively sources talent using creative recruiting techniques including but not limited to job boards, social media, cold calling, job fairs, networking, and community organizations
  • Explores and drives opportunities to engage current employees in being “ambassadors” for Hertz employer brand (employee referrals, social media, etc.)

EVALUATING TALENT

  • Interviews, assesses and recommends candidates for hire, schedules additional interviews, extends offers of employment and initiates drug screening and background investigation processes

PROBLEM SOLVING

  • Identifies real and potential talent acquisition and employment concerns and escalates to the appropriate TA Leadership team member

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Ensures a great experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting life-cycle by remaining focused on providing excellent customer service

TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION

  • Partners with managers, HR, and workforce management when applicable to stay in synch with both current and future hiring and business needs; developing talent sourcing solutions within assigned locations.
  • May be asked to assist other recruiters with training and development related to tools and technologies, processes and TA best practices as needed
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with hiring managers, human resource business partners, and organizations within the communities surrounding assigned locations

COMPLIANCE

  • Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) documentation and details throughout all phases of recruitment process
  • Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the Talent Acquisition function as well as internal compliance of selection and recruitment in accordance with defined policies and procedures
DRIVE FOR PERFORMANCE
  • Leverages TA performance scorecard to drive continuous improvement regarding sourcing and recruiting efficiency
  • Additional assignments as needed
Essential Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree in HR, Business, or relevant field of study. Appropriate work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • 3+ years of in-house or agency recruitment experience to include exempt and non-exempt hiring
  • Experience developing and implementing effective proactive and reactive sourcing strategies for high volume, exempt and non-exempt hiring across multiple locations
  • Knowledge of online hiring practices, behavioral-based interviewing and assessment techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions and TA performance metrics
  • Demonstrates knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition as a function, including best practices and the trends that are affecting it
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, external organizations within the community, and passive and active candidates
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and networking skills.
