The HR department at Nashville General Hospital is looking to add a dynamic, results driven, self-starting Talent Acquisition Coordinator to the team! The HR department at NGH is responsible for the well-being of our associates and we hope you will join us.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be entrusted with the task of upholding Nashville General Hospital’s Talent Acquisition strategy and vision by delivering a positive experience for our new team members and guests. Responsible for the coordination of day-to-day hiring tasks, the Coordinator will proactively source via internet platforms for top talent, schedule interviews, assist in the onboarding process, work on several special TA projects, and help manage social media hiring platforms. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be a crucial member of the success of Talent Acquisition and maintain close communication with the concept leaders daily.

This is a temporary per-diem role with no guarantee of full time.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Provide administrative and operational support to recruiting team.
  • Work with the Talent team to ensure resources are utilized effectively to reduced time-to-hire and improve candidate satisfaction in the interview, selection and onboarding processes.
  • Schedule interviews for recruiters, hiring manager and external partners and create job requisitions in Jobvite (ATS).
  • Coordinate online-based skills assessments.
  • Sourcing for hard to fill positions and provide a weekly report update
  • Acts as point of contact for candidates after offer but prior to start regarding questions pertaining to screening or employment paperwork.
  • Ensures all new hire processes are complete for each candidate.
  • Monitors new hires in the applicant tracking system to ensure all paperwork is completed.
  • Follow up with applicants to complete the hiring process in the recruiting management software
  • Run applicant tracking system reports as requested by the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Requirement:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred.

3 years of Recruiting experience is preferred with a strong preference in hospital/healthcare recruiting.

Must possess the necessary skills to ensure confidentiality and discretion at all times. Must have exceptional computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suite. Will have to be intermediate in Excel (pivot tables, V-look ups, formulas), no training for this skill will be offered. Must have experience with online HR recruiting system(s), Jobvite, or other comparable ATSs. We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritize their workload, a results-driven, self-starter who is upbeat, organized, detail and deadline oriented. Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. General knowledge of employment laws and recruiting practices is preferred.
