Job Description
Description:

Stripe Theory is an agency made up of a team of data-driven digital marketers, communication professionals, and analysts. We call ourselves interpreters of data because that’s just what we do - use data to inform and fuel strategies across PR, marketing, and digital. We’re looking for a top-notch Tableau Developer to add to our team. We expect our developer to be able to collect, analyze, and store data in order for clients to make better business decisions.

We're looking for a Tableau Developer to work with our Analytics team to build end to end reporting for our clients using a combination of Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Powershell, & Python. You will sit at the core of our data infrastructure, working directly with the Tech Lead to build better data systems.

The ideal candidate has a history of creating automated & standardized processes and is very familiar to working in a fast-moving environment. This candidate would leverage Stripe’s existing data infrastructure, which provides automated PowerPoint reporting and API data pulls. The purpose of this role would be to develop existing file processing scripts, create efficiencies in data management, and develop Tableau workbooks using our database.

You will play an important role in standardizing our processes and finding ways to improve our current approach.

We are looking for someone who loves building something from the ground up. This role is not a good fit for someone looking for explicit daily direction, and a successful candidate must be highly comfortable learning new techniques independently.

. Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging Tableau to solve common data problems (integrating with APIs, Google Sheets, blending/joining multiple tables, etc.)
  • 2-3 years experience with SQL
  • 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Powershell, Python, Javascript, or R
  • Passionate about digital marketing
  • Data-first mindset
  • Must be comfortable with fast-pace, adaptable environment
  • Must be proficient at time management & juggling multiple processes
  • Be willing to work offset hours.
