We are DISH.Systems and Processes Consultants are individuals with broad systems and process improvement consulting expertise and industry knowledge who are responsible for researching, defining, scoping, designing, proposing, and advocating for improvements to processes and systems. They act in a specialist support role and partner with teams to understand jobs, processes, and systems and use their business knowledge and expertise to make processes faster, easier, and more efficient.
The role will be largely focused on supporting the growth, development, and management of the DISH Fiber initiative. One of the high priority assignments for this role is partnering with the National Sales Manager to develop enhanced performance management metrics and create tools to enable more localized competitive selling. This role will need to work across teams to create scalable solutions for DISH Fiber property resident email and survey communications. They will collaborate with the Support group to develop solutions and insights to better monitor and report on equipment performance, property up-time, and issue resolutions. The Systems and Processes Consultant will lead investigative efforts into acquiring resident demographic information and will partner with the relevant internal reporting and visualization teams to empower product roadmap development, property-level upgrade efforts, and marketing messaging segmentation. There are a number of other high priority, cross-team, systems and process improvement asks that this position will take a leading role in driving and delivering.

Responsibilities

  • The Systems and Process Consultant is responsible for evaluating the system and process needs of the organization and scrutinizing every stage of the systems and process development process, including conducting risk assessment, business process analysis, and post-implementation performance analysis.
  • Act as the systems advocate for internal and external partners, taking their non-technical requirements and working across all appropriate teams to design, wireframe, and communicate solutions that will solve DISH Business’ and DISH Fiber’s complex business problems.
  • Systems and Processes Consultants are also responsible for breaking down internal and external partner asks into multiple phases, managing expectations, communicating updates, and creating a long-term plan to manage systems and processes and achieve internal and external partners’ ultimate objectives
  • Resolve internal and external business partner problems that may arise, solving process problems, and establishing a consistent channel for large systems and process enhancement efforts to flow through
  • Consultants are responsible for writing the IT requirements and features, high-level scopes, and IT Service Now Requests for their internal and external business partners
  • The job involves directing, optimizing, and coordinating teams; coordinating vendors, handling data, and driving forward complex enhancements
  • Evaluate and monitor system development timing and the evolution of the organization’s needs to proactively propose system and process enhancements that help DISH Business progress towards goals
  • Aid communication between vendors, internal groups, architects, developers, data scientists, visualization analysts, project managers, leadership, and other stakeholders to achieve mutual coordination and ensure technical requirements and enhancement objectives of making things faster, easier, and more efficient are met
  • Provide reporting and updates on systems and process improvement projects to Project Management group, internal and external business partners, and leadership
  • Collaborate with systems architects, project management, the systems approval committee, and analytics in managing the systems design and development process to guarantee that all asks are designed in a holistic way and move forward towards the internal and external partners’ needs
  • Maintain process and system improvement success measurement metrics and analyze data to evaluate performance, and make incremental improvements, post-implementation
  • Ensure that the organization/clients follow laws, regulations, and internal compliance requirements with their process and system improvement efforts by coordinating with appropriate internal teams
  • Perform special projects, research, analysis, and presentations at the request of senior DISH leadership

Education and Experience

  • MA/MS in a Business or STEM field or comparable experience with 1-3 years of experience or BA/BS in a business or STEM field with 2-5 years of comparable experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • 1+ years of experience with salesforce
  • 1+ years of experience with an email platform like Responsys, Zeta, Pardot, and/or Survey Monkey


Qualities

  • We will seek Systems and Processes Consultants that have broad knowledge of systems and process enhancement projects generally and especially if they have existing knowledge about DISH or DISH Businesses systems and processes
  • We need our candidate to have working knowledge of prioritization, coordination, time management, team alignment and coordination, and communication best practices
  • Systems and Processes Consultants are responsible for analyzing problem areas in our systems and processes. It is important they have the mental acuity to generate solutions, analyze options, and devise a concrete plan that takes into account multiple factors, including risk, existing resources, and cost of implementation
  • Applicants must be self-motivated individuals with energy and drive, able to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Systems and Processes Consultants have to interact with multiple individuals and teams, including management, employees, vendors, suppliers, internal partners, and external partners. So, it is important that they have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to solicit and convey highly technical information to others in an easily understandable way

Compensation: $64,800.00/Yr. - $89,400.00/Yr.
