Systems Administrator

• Ensures Linux, Mac OS, Windows servers, Virtualization, Cloud Computing systems, and Infrastructure remain consistently and fully operational through a software development life-cycle, while also maintaining security compliance for each across development, test, and pre-production server environments.
• Assesses system monitoring findings, and functional and/or configuration deficiencies in a production environment.
• Maintains compliance with cybersecurity and network-security policies, to include technical implementation of security guides (e.g., DISA STIGs) and production of supporting artifacts required by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Performs required security maintenance activities, as well as provide recommended actions or resolutions for any vulnerabilities and deficiencies identified.
• Efficiently performs server maintenance activities, as well as provide recommended actions or solutions for any server environment deficiencies identified.
• Maintains configuration management of the server environment by processing and implementing change controls throughout the software development life-cycle.
• Development, testing, and execution of new deployment automation tools to deploy software, servers, and maintain configuration of all computing environments (i.e. PowerShell, Ansible).
• Prepares, updates, and maintains configuration items required for the deployment of production servers in the field.
• Prepares production environment for the deployment or automated deployment of production servers.
• Executes deployment, tests full operation, monitors health, and verifies customer acceptance of production servers.
• Interfaces and interacts with field technicians to validate full operation of production servers.

• Experience implementing and maintaining virtual machines with VMware vSphere as well as cloud management and monitoring including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Experience monitoring, maintaining, and controlling associated infrastructure systems including NetApp appliances and Cisco Unified Computing System in both development and production environments.
• Experience securing both classified and unclassified servers via proper DISA STIG and IA compliance.
• Required to be certified as an IAT Level 2 Systems Administrator for privileged access to systems which requires a Security+ and a level 2 computing environment certificate (i.e., MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2).
• Ability to Travel up to 50% of the time.

• Desired 2+ years of demonstrated experience with administering Windows servers.
