Systems Admin

Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Admin for a leading software organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (NC) area. The Systems Admin will maintain the physical and virtual server and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate for the Systems Admin will have excellent Windows and Linux skills.

Responsibilities for the Systems Admin include:

• Collaborate with team members to maintain IT infrastructure operations and improve system monitoring
• Provide on-call support for any production issues
• Recommend improvements for procedures
• Review and update all pertinent network data, policies, and practices

Requirements for Systems Admin include:

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and maintaining network infrastructure
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Windows and Linux servers
• 2+ years of scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant field

Compensation of the Systems Admin: $100,000-$110,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
