Join the team that is ensuring one person- one identity.Responsibilities: The Supervisor of Support Services is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager and managing the department operations of their assigned shift. The Supervisor must possess organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to ensure all Shipping and Receiving and Inventory Control personnel are properly trained and cross-trained. Oversee the maintenance of all the Warehouse equipment and ensure they are being used in a safety manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES
80% Lead and provide support

  • Assist in planning, prioritizing, and managing daily department operations


  • Pull, transfer, deduct jobs and restock according to appropriate work instructions


  • Assist load and unload trucks, staging materials in appropriate Warehouse location


  • Coordinate and prepare outbound and inbound shipments based on customer requirements.


  • Understand and follow the PCI requirements when handling secure shipments


  • Make internal deliveries of mail and incoming materials.


  • Ability to assist and train other operators as required


  • Maintain records of all item shipped or receiving based on the Work Instruction


  • Receiving Consumable inventory


  • Maintain offsite Warehousing


  • Write, deliver, performance evaluations


  • Interview and hire staff, maintaining employee discipline and morale


  • Ability to assist and train other operators as required.


  • Implement and support ISO 9001:2015 specifications and requirements


  • Ensure everyone operates Warehouse equipment in safe manner.

Support the implementation of best practice tools and techniques such as Management Inventory Tools, Kaizen, ISO 9001:2015, department policies, specifications and requirements.

Provide reports on weekly, monthly and annual performance as required.

Position is Tuesday-Saturday 3-11pmQualifications:EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEHigh School graduate or equivalent GED. Strongly prefer 5+ years Warehouse Inventory and Shipping/Receiving experience. Forklift certification is required. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, reading, writing and verbal skills.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in order to make sound business decisions in a high-paced environment. Requires problems solving and listening skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to work flexible hours.
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS
Ability to read and follow instructions and possess the necessary mechanical aptitude to operate department machinery.
