Supply Management Specialist II


Waterloo, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.pr-engservices.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Waterloo, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform the duties of a Supply Management Planner II. Manage the day- to-day performance and relationship of a group of suppliers for several assigned commodities to support factory operations. Work with the Supply Base to drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.


This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. Duties:

  • Manage All PO's processed through the RYL Desk
  • Freestock monitoring (Van Meter, Nott, Ferguson, Fastenal) 801/804
  • Support Skilled Trades through expediting Indirect Material already ordered under IM number.
  • Supporting Skilled Trades w/ tool ordering, ordering help, tracking parts down, etc.
  • Radios (send out for repair/provide some stock for basics (mics, antenna's etc.)
  • Chain, strap, and lever hoist inspections (Aug 17 - 21st)
  • Issuing Chain straps and lever hoists
  • Circle Sunday reports (MTBF, MTTR, % Planned Work and WO report), Updating Maintenance Scorecard
  • Monitor oil room tote stock, perform monthly issuances to those that are under scheduling agreement
  • Send requests for chemical IM's to be Foundry approved
  • Setup annual fall protection equipment inspection and operator training
  • Provide Inventory management support of 731 & 732 Stockrooms
  • Create New Storage Locations for new components setup in 731 & 732 Stockroom.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy audits of 731 & 732 Stockroom.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply management or Business-related field
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in the process of managing an Indirect Materials buyer desk through the entire life cycle of the purchase order.
  • Experience managing relationship and contract with strategic suppliers.
  • Organizational skills to manage many concurrent tasks.
  • Proficiency with SAP MM module
