Wound Care Supervisor
Provides therapeutic services to patients through the use of initial assessments, therapeutic procedures and interventions in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the hospital and applicable law. Treats disabilities, injuries, and disease through the use of therapeutic techniques according to prescriptions from a physician, performs testing and evaluation procedures on patients.
Requirements: Current Certification in Hyperbaric Tech, EMT, RN or RT . 2 years experience in hyperbaric operations Knowledge of physics, gas laws, mechanical effects, physiology, medical terminology, decompression theory, schematics, medical gas systems and HBO terminology. Specialized in the use of BSI precautions, working around hyperbaric chamber and potentially life threatening pressure vessels Skills in organization, planning, and implementing emergency response Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Heart Association. Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic understanding of computers and ability to learn hospital specific systems including use of internet and microsoft word. Must have knowledge of a variety of wound care techniques and the ability to perform procedures for all wound care types.
