Substitute Cook

Life Academy in Roanoke, VA is looking for one substitute cook to join our team. We are located at 7422 Deer Branch Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. We are looking for someone to sub in the kitchen on an as-needed basis. Candidate needs to be comfortable in an industrial kitchen, preparing lunch and snack for babies and young children in the daycare. We offer a comprehensive program and are in need of loving, caring individuals who possess the necessary skills to care for children in various age groups. Applicants with previous work experience with children, and are willing to meet the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of children, have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are asked to apply. Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $8.00 - $10.00/hour.

About Life Academy: We have provided families with daycare and preschool for their children in a Christian wholesome environment with activities and programs that help them grow for over 30 years. Our after school programs provides a safe place while parents are at work.
