Student Recruitment Coordinator

The Student Enrollment coordinator is responsible for owning the registration and enrollment process in order to meet 100% campus enrollment goals. This process includes, but is not limited to, fostering local interest, managing enrollment goals, and monitoring student and family persistence. They will raise awareness of Promesa Academy within the community, secure applicants, and nurture families through the persistence pipeline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% of our enrollment goals are met
• Execute student recruitment strategies (blockwalking, social media marketing, etc.) that target families with school-aged children
• Attend community events and information fairs to inform families about Promesa
• Execute off-site presentation to daycares, housing complexes, community centers, and other community organizations
• Assist families in completing applications
• Host tours and open houses at Promesa
• Maintain and cultivate a waitlist after seats are filled
• Manage the registration process
• Monitor family participation and engagement through the recruiting year
• Establish and maintain community partnerships
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Ability to work on a non-traditional schedule (evenings, weekends, select holidays)
• Significant walking/time on feet
• Set-up and tear down of Promesa marketing set-ups
• Ability to connect with families about educational issues
• Background check passed, required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience in charters, school environments, or other nonprofits preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Compensation

The salary for this position is $18/hour with the ability to earn a $5,000 bonus for fill all open seats by August 2022, and $2,500 bonuses at the end of each quarter for each milestone.
