Job Description
Our Intelligent Process Automation (“IPA”) practice focuses on providing Robotic Process Automation, Smart Data Intake, Machine learning solutions and Analytics for most meaningful business processes to major industries globally. It is one of the largest practices across the globe, fastest growing practices in the company, and a key pillar of our digital offerings. We are seeking a Senior Manager to grow our presence in select key accounts across multiple verticals in North America.

The Strategic Engagement Lead is accountable for establishing, growing or sustaining Cognizant’s Intelligent Process Automation presence by ensuring operational and delivery excellence and bring valued long-term partnerships, internal account and market teams.

The right candidate for this role must understand, appreciate and drive transformation that is based on business needs. They must demonstrate an inherent understanding that technology and interventions are dictated by the desired outcomes; i.e. they are levers in transformation and not the goal themselves.

This individual must have shown success with hands-on delivery and program management. Leading the design and implementation of IT or Business transformation programs is a desired skill.

We will first build strong and positive relationships with our client and account teams.

He/she will leverage their combined industry, delivery and transformation expertise, to implement best practice methodologies, drive transparency through outcome management, demonstrate purposeful thought leadership, intelligent risk taking and problem solving to support the client’s needs and solve business challenges through intelligent automation.

The Strategic Engagement Lead will strive to build relationships with reference-able clients through excellence in customer engagement and outcome delivery.

Goals in this role might include high customer satisfaction scores, revenue growth, opportunities to partner on solutions, expanded presence at the client, referrals, and/or publicly reference-able accounts.

Responsibilities:
Guide the client toward the establishment of the efficient operating model for their environment and maturity

Ensure delivery excellence by embedding standard methodologies, outcome management and delivering on our commitments for both implementation and support.

Establish, Sustain or Grow the IPA capability in the assigned accounts. For example, seek opportunities for interconnected solutions, expand existing capabilities to new business areas, etc.

Drive the adoption of organizational change management practices that support the client’s ability to achieve sustained success and scale.

Be a strategic partner and point of contact for the client and Cognizant teams for the automation program/engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Intelligent Process Automation experience including awareness of at least one automation product’s high-level architecture, licensing model, and key features. Experience as a practitioner encouraged

Program Management - experience in leading and executing global automation programs with established governance at exec leadership/steering committee level

Demonstrated understanding of business operations and OCM principles; experience in driving OCM is a plus

Multi-geo experience and the ability to build effective relationships with offshore teams in a global delivery model.

Financial acuity; to lead projects and help guide client investment choices

Demonstrated organization skills with demonstrable ability to run multiple work, drive outcomes and tackle issues.

Outstanding client leadership skills and experience.

Ability to work multi-functionally in a virtual and highly-matrixed environment.

Willing to relocate or travel to client location as per project/engagement requirement.
