Job Description

Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner. Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently. Ensures sterility of all processed items. Maintain instruments and assure timely distribution to all customers. Ability to prioritize instruments. Ability to assemble complex trays. Ability to use critical thinking skills to provide solutions for OR needs. Assumes leadership role within the department.

Requirements

Two years of experience in Sterile Processing required.
High school graduate or GED equivalent
CRCST or CBSPD certification. Certification from The International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Manangement (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
Proficient in verbal and written English with excellent telephone and customer service skills. Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
