Position Summary:The Stat RN will support all units - pre-admit clinic, day surgery, peri-operative services and the emergency department. The Stat RN provides clinical expertise in responding to all overhead code calls, rapid response calls, and proactive monitoring of all inpatient and emergency department screening for signs of active deterioration in the clinical setting.

Minimum Requirements:? Ability to demonstrate excellent patience and tact when interacting with patients, family members and providers ?
Ability to prioritize and organize the multiple demands of the position
? Ability to identify occupational hazards and use safety precautions
? Ability to work independently
? Ability to recognize and respond to visual and auditory alarms/communications ?
Ability to communicate appropriately verbally and in writing with patients, visitors and staff
? Possesses knowledge of National Patient Goals and adheres to policies and practices designed to increase patient safety

Education/Licenses/Certifications:? Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Washington
? Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS certified)
? Maintain certification in NIHSS ?
ACLS/ NRP/ PALS certifications ?
Five (5) years Critical Care or ED experience
? Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire. Employees may be grandfathered if hired in or prior to January 2021
