SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Leadership Development Manager's role is to support existing Staffing & Recruiting operations, both at branch locations and VOP (vendor on premise) sites that have MAU Staff supporting the recruiting function; lead transition teams and startups in new/current markets; ensure that MAU deliverables are met as required by each location; and drive new organic business through customer engagement and meeting/exceeding staffing & recruiting expectations.

Qualified candidates will have the flexibility to physically move, depending on location, to support business in new or existing markets. This position will be required to relocate. Relocation would be discussed as a part of the hiring process.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree (preferred)
  • 3+ years of Human Resource, Recruiting & Staffing, Management experience (preferred)
  • 5+ years of producing performance management, change management and/or development results
  • Experience working closely with customers at all levels (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint (preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and lead all aspects of new customer startups
  • Track budget expenses and financial targets monthly
  • Develop leadership to ensure bench strength
  • Expand business through organic growth and engagement of new opportunities
  • Ensure business deliverables are achieved through the use of metrics and KPIs (time-to-fill, turnover, fill rates, headcount targets, etc.)
  • Mentor recruiting team members on process improvement opportunities
  • Engage in new customer discovery, contract pricing and organizational planning
  • Travel to new customer sites in new/current markets and lead transition meetings and branch startups
    • Train new hires responsible for recruiting in new markets
  • Interact with customers, onsite internal customers and recruiting leadership on a daily basis to understand staffing needs and targeted deadlines
  • Develop and implement containment actions to achieve desired time-to-fill
  • Interview and participate in selection process for new branch and VOP recruiting & staffing personnel
  • Ensure that Associate orientation is professionally delivered and represents site expectations
  • Actively mentor/coach a safe work culture through employee engagement, BBS observations, and participation in site safety events at sites where MAU personnel are not present
    • Hold personnel accountable for work behavior
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure that required information is distributed properly, employee case management techniques are followed, and corrective actions are communicated at sites where MAU personnel are not present
  • Prepare recruiting team members in how to handle difficult circumstances through scenario training
  • Ensure that key responsibilities of direct reports are clear and that activities are checked for compliance
  • Perform safety audits and engage in the safety culture through BBS observations and planned Inspections at sites where MAU personnel are not present
  • Actively track metrics and KPIs and participate in customer KPI meetings
  • Identify areas process improvement and initiate corrective actions to address these areas
