What Will You Do?:
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
  • Prepare account analysis, including research and compilation of findings
  • Assist Senior Accountant with fixed asset capitalization
  • Assist Senior Accountant and Management with accounting adjustments
  • Prepare documentation and notes supporting procedures or accounting treatment
  • Assist Accounting Team with ad hoc assignments.
  • Work collaboratively with other Entity and Division accounting teams to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional departments to reach results
  • Meet deadlines and communicate findings and status timely

The Perfect Match!:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Good understanding of accounting theory and GAAP
  • 2-3 years prior experience in an accounting role
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong research skills
  • Be a flexible person who is change adept
  • Ability to meet deadlines using good time management skills
  • Works well in a team environment
